Physician's Assistant

Sue Baker, PA-C, joined CSPM in 2003. Before deciding on a career as a physician’s assistant, Sue was a respiratory therapist at the Detroit Medical Center and Providence Hospital.

She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Detroit-Mercy's physician assistant program and is currently an adjunct lecturer on several respiratory medicine topics. Sue is a member of the Michigan Association of Physician Assistants.

Practice Manager

Cheryl Rich, the practice manager, has worked in pulmonary and sleep medicine practices since the 1990s. She is responsible for the day-to-day business and financial operations of CSPM.

She graduated with honors from the University of Michigan-Flint as an accounting major with a degree in business management.

Her background in accounting and medical practice management is an integral part of CSPM. Cheryl is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the Michigan Medical Group Management Association.

Billing Manager

Brenda Gardner, CPC, the billing manager, began with CSPM in early 2012. She is a certified professional coder and brings with her a wealth of billing and management experience.

In her off-hours, Brenda is a billing and coding instructor at Carnegie Institute in Troy, MI. She is utilizing her vast knowledge and experience to educate students pursuing careers in the healthcare billing and coding field.

Her experience and high standards are an asset to CSPM. Brenda is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders and the Michigan Medical Billers Association.
